All ABout Ms. Tombo

Hello everyone!

This is my first year teaching, and I am so excited to be joining the Shepard Squad! I grew up in Garland, Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S.A. in Mathematics and a B.A. in French Studies. In my spare time, I love to read, draw, and watch movies with my family. I also run and hope to complete a full marathon one day! I look forward to truly making this a year to remember!

PACE: PLANO ACADEMIC CREATIVE EDUCATION

Questions?

Notify your child’s teacher or the campus gifted specialist.

Complete the online referral packet.

Due October 11th by 5pm

https://www.pisd.edu/giftededucation

If you believe your child needs to receive gifted services….

PACE is similar to Special Education in that it is an enrichment service designed to meet the needs of a different kind of learner.

PACE is not an Honors program.

Students requiring gifted services may...

  • perform two grade levels above current grade
  • learn exceptionally fast
  • need only one to two repetitions for mastery
  • thrive on complexity
  • arrive at solutions in an unusual manner
