  • Even when I got tired, I kept going.
  • I came to a hard word and I decided to slow down, break up the word and try again.
  • I got called to read in front of the entire third grade and it was hard to read script and the word “ generous” but I tried anyway and got it correct!
  • I didn’t give up on a math problem last year.
  • I had a hard test last year but I kept trying even when I knew my answer was wrong.
  • I was taking my first shot in basketball and I couldn’t get it in the net. It took a lot of tries and I finally made it in!
  • Drawing can be hard but I have to keep trying.
