Prior learning: Bee sketching from YouTube tutorial on Bee learning site.

Paint: Paint bubble wrap (one layer brown, one layer yellow) press onto the background to create a honeycomb effect.

Sketch: Review sketches from beeswax wraps of bees. What do we like? Why? Sketch bee for foreground on separate paper. Encourage use of whole page and space. Use black sharpie to outline bee.

Pastel: Use bold bright colours to colour sketch. Cut the bee out and glue onto background.

Share: Seesaw and classroom wall display.
