Latin American culture consists of Spanish, French and Portuguese. It also consits of "art, music, dance, and literature". It has many different religions just as the United States does. (1)

Varying Culture

The southeast and southern regions were made because of the immigration of Italy, Germany, and Eastern Europe. Brazil, Cuba and a few other places learned some of their culture from Asia. Some Latin American countries learned what religion and dance were from the African slaves. (1)

Immigrants

Latin America has many different types of people, culture, and religion. The Ameridians have three countries that they are considered to be the main race living there. In the rest of Latin America there is a variety of types of people living there. (1)

Amerindians

A number of "Iberian" people came to Latin America around the 16th century. Since the "Iberian" people came to Latin America they changed the race when them and the Amerindians had a baby together. This makes most of Latin American countries race European and Amerindians. (1)

Liberia

Brazil and the Caribbean began to have African slaves brought to Latin America around the 16th century. But since the African slaves were brought to Latin America, the African's now are a huge part of Latin American people. Also, some Latin America countries have White's, Black's, and Amerindian people living there, this is called a "tri-racial population". (1)

Latin America started to have a lot of European immigrants around the 19th and 20th century. The Europeans stayed in countries like Brazil, Argentina, and Chile also known as the "Southern Cone". Since the Europeans came to the "Southern Cone" they now are a big part of the population. (1)

The different Latin American people and races have a big impact on the religion and music. Some people in the United States call this race "Latino's". The problem is that latino just means latin, so the correct way to say it is to call them Latin Americans. (1)

The main language in Latin America is Spanish because a big part of Latin America is more Mexican than Portuguese and French. Brazil is the main Portugese speaking country and the Caribbean is where Latin American's speak French. German and Italian are also spoken, but very rarely. (1)

Most countries in Latin America have a stable language that will always be spoken. Most of the stable language's from Latin America came from European people and some African people. In some Latin American countries there is native american languages. (1)

Nahuatl is a language that is spoken with "stress on the first syllable". Nahuatl is spoken by many people in Latin America, in Mexico there is more than one million people speaking Nahuatl. The government will not specifically a national language. (1)

The Spanish alphabet has twenty-nine letters with two letters put together to equal one. For example, "CH" and "LL" are one letter in the Spanish alphabet. The correct term for these grouped letters is digraphs. (2)

Art in Latin America is becoming more and more popular. This would normally be seen as a good thing by artists but with the bigger demand for paintings, people are trying to sell counterfits. Even bad copies of the paintings are being sold because people are too trusting. (3)
