As I mentioned earlier, ONE ECD is our motto this year. The work we do as individuals connects to our collective identify as one organization. So this All Hands is about uniting as one organization sharing the wins and memories that made up last year.
It’s been a hard year for all of us – I’m grateful for all the hard work you’ve continued to put in despite the challenges and still being a COVID year. That why we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge through TOKENS OF APPRECIATION like those gift cards and the small gifts we handed out during the holiday season.
With difficulty comes a renewed sense of energy. We experienced a lot of changes – we had 171 folks leave but also welcomed the SAME number of new members into our growing family. So let’s give a round of applause to those who joined us last year and helped bring Community Development to where we are today.
Lastly, we’ll talk about our strategic framework that defines who we are and what we stand for. We heard you last year in the employee engagement survey results when you expressed lack of clear identity. We’ll take some time to unpack that so you’ll get an introductory idea of how your work is tied to our mission, vision, and goals.
Now I turn it over to Gayle to kick off the first part of our 2021 recap.
