School Counseling Mission Statement

The mission of Oak Grove Elementary school counseling program is to provide all students with a comprehensive school counseling program which equitably addresses the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students. In partnership with teachers, administrators, parents and the community, the school counselor will help all students to acquire the mindsets and behaviors to become lifelong learners who are collaborative, creative, effective communicators, and critical thinkers.
