Step 1

Tap the iMovie app to begin creating a new project

Tap the + sign to create a new project

Step 3

Choose Trailer to continue to the movie trailer templates

Choose your template- I chose “Adrenaline” for the book, The Giver by Lois Lowry

Step 5

Begin with the overview of your trailer.

Now work on the Storyboard for your trailer. This is where you add photo/video and text.

For the photos added to my trailer, I used Haiku Deck- an online presentation tool.

Editing Photos in iMovie

After choosing your photo, you can zoom in or out and adjust the animation.
