  • Each step has several apples (mini lessons).
  • Each step has a test.
  • Each step progressively gets more difficult.
  • Typing Pals can be accessed from home.
  • Tests should be completed at school.
  • Can be accessed on Chromebooks.

Students cannot work ahead of the colored apple.

TIME NEEDED?

Not sure...each mini lesson (apple) takes 10 minutes or less….at least on the beginning steps.

Ideally, once classes finish the 8 steps, then students will continue using the same keys to success behaviors to grow their typing speed.

�Note, you can delete all statistics SHOULD you have a high flyer and want to keep them typing...or someone is looking at keyboard, etc… could start over.

Click on green RESULTS tab….

first check the “LOG”-

*accuracy at 90% or better….keep working.

Results Tab, Average Accuracy=90% or better….go back to apples.

Results Tab, Average Accuracy=89% or less, click on Accuracy tab to see which apples to re-do.

*accuracy at 89% or less...go back and re-do crunched apples before proceeding on.

To figure out apples to re-do, click on results tab, then accuracy and it will show you keys (apples) to re-do.
