Joining a PDE SAS Professional Learning Community

Navigate to pdesas.org

  • Click on the yellow “Login” button in the upper right corner. 

  • If you already have an account, log into the system. 
  • If you do not have an account, register for an account.

NOTE: As of April 2024, PDESAS now requires multi-factor authentication. If you have not already updated your email address, please do so in your SAS Profile to ensure access to your account. For assistance, contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@pdesas.org or 1-877-973-3727.

Navigate to Communities

  • The upper right corner will now say “[Your name]’s SAS Tools”. Click on that.

  • In the menu that pops up, find “Communities”. Click on that.

Find a Community

The next screen will have a large green “Find a Community” button. Click on that.

Find a Community

  • Use the “Search by Keyword” bar on the left to search for communities.
  • Use the following keywords for specific communities:
    • “arts” for visual arts or music
    • “social studies” for social studies
    • “world languages” for world languages
  • Click on the “search” icon.

Find a Community

  • Find the appropriate Learning Community.
  • NOTE – Some LEAs have set up PLCs within the SAS portal. PDE’s Learning Communities will have a description similar to this description.
  • Click on the Learning Community you want to join.

Join a Community

  • On the next screen, confirm that this is the community you wish to join.
  • Click the yellow “Join this Community” button.
  • Explore the Forums, Topics, Events, and Content Repository.
  • Enjoy!
