Quick guide for PowerPoint creation

  1. Download or create a new version for your use. Never make changes to the saved on-line version.
  2. Follow the Master Deck when you create a PowerPoint. Slides are already designed; you just have to press ‘New Slide’ and select from the scroll down when you want to add a new slide.
  3. If you have the need of creating a slide beyond the ones of the Master Deck, that’s ok, just keep the same format: (1) logo in the corner, (2) same colors, (3) same typography (Montserrat).

General comments:

  1. Begin always with the slide “1_Title Slide”.
  2. Insert the title for the slides – go to View -> Slide Master -> Enter on Table of Contents slide in the top right hand corner.
  3. Keep the same typography (Montserrat).
  4. Don’t forget the logos.
  5. Don’t change the color palette.
  6. Use the text boxes provided – they will automatically produce your font correctly.
  7. If you add pictures, add the source in a corner. See ‘Introduction to Biomimicry’ slide deck for examples.
  8. Also, add the source if you include scientific data or quotes.
  9. Save the deck with a name that is easy to localize by the rest of your colleagues.
  10. Once finished, upload the deck it in the BCF_WP3 drive folder.

Add your table of content.

If your deck has more or less the same number of points, please create a similar slide (or hide the last ones with a white box).

Or remove in your version of the Master Deck – never change the on-line version.
