What is the 1:1 Chromebook Project?

  • 2016-17: All 6th grade CUSD students get a chromebook
  • By 2018-19: All 6th, 7th, and 8th students have a chromebook
  • Chromebook carts at each site for 7th and 8th grade class check-outs

What are Student Expectations?

  • Keeping chromebooks clean, secure and in good operating condition.
  • Students are responsible for chromebooks just like textbooks; will be charged for damages/loss.
  • Students will bring chromebooks and charger to school each day fully charged.
  • Parents can purchase insurance through outside carrier on their own.
  • If student does not have Wi-Fi at home then libraries and most coffee shops have free access.
  • Students complete Digital Citizenship through Common Sense Media
