Interests

Just because a Sim has a high skill, doesn’t mean they have passion for it.

5 of 28

Interests - Overview

  • Sim skills now have an interest meter ranging from ‘boring’ to ‘passionate’
  • Traits will help set the baseline for your interest meters
  • Talking with other Sims about your skills will boost your interest
  • Interest dictates how quickly a sim learns a skill
  • It may take a skill point or two for a sim to figure out how they feel about a skill
  • A passionate Sim will receive more whims and positive moodlets for their skill
  • Most Sims will only have one or two passions
  • Child Sims forced to learn a skill may grow to resent it
