Our portal is housed on the Redivis platform, with a few key capabilities: First, we have all of the data, that you need, stored in one place. Right now, we have 150+ datasets and more than 6 billions rows of data available on our portal. My colleagues in the core data team are still putting in more datasets, as I am presenting, and if you stumble upon any dataset that we not yet have on our portal, feel free to make a request and we will make that happen for you. Secondly, it requires an immense storage capacity to store all these data in one place. If you don’t plan to work on this long-term, you would not invest the time and resources to purchase cloud storage and establish the data pipeline to automate and update your data resources. This is where the EIDC comes in and help you do the hard part. Furthermore and thirdly, even though these datasets can be wildly different in terms of structure, coding logic, and quality as mentioned, our data prep makes sure that on our portal, they are interoperable and can be readily merged with simple SQL requests. Lastly, the Redivis platform provides a friendly web-based interface and a robust set of collaborative functions, including project sharing and membership management, that makes collaborative data work very dynamic and convenient. Imagine, Git, but easier, more clicking.
