2 of 7

Objective

The objective is for IB diploma candidates to have the opportunity to explore a topic of their interest using scientific approaches. In addition, the project will be interdisciplinary and collaborative. This means that each student will need to work with at least one other student from a different IB science discipline. The time you will be expected to spend on this project is 10 hours. This includes time spent formulating your research topic, designing your investigation/project, doing your research, and summarizing the results of your project on a poster. Each team member will sign an affidavit stating that each person of the team has contributed equally to the project in accordance with IB standards.
