  • Increasing interest, many projects and studies funded by ESA and NASA
  • Very attractive option for sustainable power generation and for (colonization) missions to the Moon or Mars
  • SBSP will be considered the primary power supply source for the Lunar habitats studied by Moonshot+ LA&I
  • Aspects such as astrodynamics/orbits, energy efficiency, launch and assembly, scalability are of special relevance
