Auto Arrange

  • the fit to view is too small, it’s not usable. Had to collapse all the cards to see the diagram.

  • Liked the Overview, but wanted panning in the diagram.

Superclasses

  • Difficulty with hidden super classes
    • didn’t like the green plus, especially when it was in the middle and the superclass was hidden
    • error message only showed up in the command line. made it hard to know what was going on
    • Didn’t like the idea that an indirect class could be displayed if the immediate superclass has hidden
    • worried about IP and suggested a legal review

    • different visual affordance on the plus when superclass is hidden (or none at all.
    • Don’t place the green + in the middle of the line (can cause ambiguity. keep it on the class itself.
    • Super class button should be disabled if superclass is hidden?

Selection/Highlight

“selection colors are bad even if I wasn’t color-blind”

quick fix

  • change the display from grey to something else (italic)
  • don’t dull the text on highlight
