Apprenticeship attendance FTES reporting option: Districts have the option to report apprenticeship student attendance as FTES on the CCFS-320 (Apportionment Attendance Report) if specified requirements are met and not reported as RSI hours on the CCFS-321 (Apprenticeship Attendance Report)

Scheduling Class with Fee Waiver
No charges or fees shall be required to paid by a resident or nonresident apprentice per California Ed Code 76350
To implement the tuition and fee waiver by checking the ‘Tuition and Fee Waiver’ box located on the bottom right of the SSASECT screen.
Scheduling Restriction - Cohort Code
To restrict general students from registering class that is reserved for the registered apprentices. Go to the Banner screen: SSARRES and go to ‘Student Attribute and Cohort’ tab to input a cohort code to include the apprentices in the cohort code to be registered for a course.
Student - Cohort Code
When apprentices (students) get admitted into any of the approved registered apprenticeship programs, go to SGASADD (Additional Student Information) screen and enter student CWID and student’s starting term. Then click on ‘Go.
Input a cohort code that associates with the program in the ‘Cohort Code’ field and click on ‘SAVE.’
