6th, 7th, and 8th grade students show the STEM projects that they have worked on since the start of the school year as a photographer from Craine’s Business Magazine of Detroit takes photos of their work.
6th grade students are creating floor plans and making Tiny Houses in their “architecture and engineering studies.”
Students used computer aided design software called SketchUp to learn about engineering.

8th grade students show their prosthetic hand constructions and explain how they used the engineering process throughout the project.
Students create their own shoe design using the engineering process from start to finish and have to create a commercial for advertisement. Students study Bio-Medical Technology and Industry in 8th grade STEM classes at Stout Middle School.
