Tertiary Placements (QLD)

  • Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) Points

Duke of Ed is a recognised course of study for QCE. You can earn up to 4 credits:

Bronze – 1 | Silver – 1 | Gold - 2

  • Bond University – Beyond Bond

Duke of Ed is an approved activity which Bond University students can choose to participate to gain points towards completing the compulsory Beyond Bond requirement.*

* Recognised only when activity is completed during a student’s time at Bond University

Under the Elite Athletes, Performers and Leaders (EAPL) program:

For Gold – 2 Adjustment Factor Points

  • Macquarie University – Adjustment Factors

Under the Elite Athletes, Performers and Leaders (EAPL) program:

  • Australian National University (ANU) – Entry Requirements

Completing a Silver or Gold Award automatically qualifies students for the co-curricular and service requirement (CSS), a mandatory section of the ANU entry application for involvement in activities outside the classroom during Years 10-12.

  • La Trobe University (LTU) – Aspire Early Admissions Program

Award Participants who have completed Bronze Level or above will automatically qualify for the community engagement criteria of LTU’s Aspire program.

  • Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE) Points

Duke of Ed is a recognised program with the TASC. Award Holders can earn the following number of points on completion:

Bronze - 12 TCE Credit Points

Silver Direct Entry – 15 TCE Credit Points

Silver Continuation – 8 TCE Credit Points

Gold Direct Entry – 38 TCE Credit Points

Gold Continuation (from Silver) – 19 TCE Credit Points

  • South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) Points

Duke of Ed is a recognised community-developed program. Award Holders can earn the following number of credits on completion:

Bronze – 10 SACE Credits (Stage 1)

Silver Direct Entry – 20 SACE Credits (Stage 1)

Silver Continuation – 10 SACE Credits (Stage 1)

Gold – 20 SACE Credits (Stage 2)

  • WA Certificate of Education (WACE) Points

Duke of Ed is an endorsed program with the School Curriculum and Standards Authority. Award Holders can earn the following number of units on completion:

Bronze – 1 Unit | Silver – 2 Units | Gold – 4 Units

In addition, the Award:

  • Will be listed on their WA Statement of Student Achievement;
  • May contribute towards the breadth-and-depth requirement of the WACE;
  • May contribute towards the C grade requirement of the WACE

Duke of Ed is an approved part of the portfolio of evidence for entry via the Experienced Based Entry Scheme.
