Getting Ready

  1. Download GreenScreen by DoInk ($2.99)
  2. Choose a wall or corner on which to hang the green screen - don’t use a window
  3. Choose a topic and prepare decorative materials, if necessary
  4. Prepare what you’re going to say
  5. Prepare still images for background in photo reel

  1. Decide: One shot wonder or multiple shots?
    1. If one shot wonder, you’re good
    2. If multiple shots, storyboard and shoot videos on the green screen using iPad’s camera function

Things to consider

  • Make sure that students do NOT wear green on the day that that they videotape in front of the green screen (unless it’s intentional)
  • Make sure the playhead is in appropriate place when switching backgrounds and overlaying additional images
  • Preview the video by pressing “play”
  • Press “save” to finish the layered video (option “video”)
  • Export to Notes, Gmail, iMessage, Facebook, Camera Roll
