Grant us the grace to be able to guide them in the practice of virtue and the way of your commandments, by the good example of our lives, and by the loving observance of your law and that of your Church. Promote the Educational Principles of the Sisters of Notre Dame through our school theme “Living the Gospel with a Spirit of Compassion, Hope and Joy!”

Implement Year 4 Initiatives of the 2018 Strategic Plan- Building Leaders Through Transformative Education.

Continue to build a diverse and inclusive community by engaging with our local community and encouraging collaboration amongst our stakeholders.

Support learning for all students through our commitment to innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Use data collection to measure the effectiveness of PPT by analyzing weekly PPT notification submissions to categorize how teachers and students utilize PPT in order to determine future professional development needs during the second semester.

Each school family and NDA employee will be required to sign an “Acknowledgement of Responsibility Form” prior to school starting. This will be available in Final Forms.

Each student and employee will complete a daily personal health assessment before leaving home for school.

Notre Dame Academy has a school nurse to help keep our students healthy and safe.

Students and parents will be asked to cooperate with the administration and school nurse with contact tracing investigations if needed. This will allow for quick identification of those at high risk of infection from the positive COVID-19 student/staff. We will be following the CDC Guidelines for contact tracing. TBD

Currently, masks are required inside the school building at all times. This will be evaluated for next week.

Masks are not required at any outdoor campus facilities.

Classrooms have been set up with desks 3 feet apart throughout school.

Doors to the school will be open at 6:30 a.m. each morning. At 7:45 a.m. students can begin moving to classrooms.

We will continue to eat in two lunch mods. We will be utilizing the cafeteria, auditorium and all outside areas (weather permitting). Students will have the option to purchase lunch and a drink.

Visitors are permitted on campus. Visitors will be buzzed in at the front doors of the school must report to the main office where they will need to check in.

Our Student Services Department has adapted procedures to provide a safe and healthy environment where they can provide necessary support for students. Programs provided by the Student Services Department will continue throughout the 2021-22 school year.

Notre Dame Academy’s Athletic Department will strictly adhere to KHSAA Guidelines.

Notre Dame Academy will follow infection procedures provided by the Diocese of Covington.

Student class schedules have been shared on Powerschool.
Freshmen - Juniors should email Mrs. Monohan with questions, and Seniors email Ms. Stanley.
Schedule changes may only occur in the first two weeks of school and are contingent upon the space available in class, student’s schedule and teacher approval. Changes are not made based on teacher preference.

Recognize the importance of effective communication and this slide shows the different methods that we use.

FinalForms with new update coming out in the next week are an essential part to ensuring our communication works well; this is where families are able to update their information at the start of each school year. While most families have already updated their information for the new year, we are asking all families to log back into final forms to complete the necessary COVID forms.

The information provided in Final FOrms supports how we notify each of you via email and through our Parent Notification System -- Swift K12. Our Panda Press Weekly is eamiled out to famlies each week and contains a vast amount of information about what is happening at school. In the event of an emergency (school closing, delay, etc) we will use Swift K12 our parent noficiation system which enables us to push out informaiton very quickly via email, text or phone. The information in FinalForms linnks iwth Swift K12, so I want to reiterate the importance of the most up to date information in final forms.
