Final Year Project: Water Monitoring of Blk 56, Floating Wetland

Objectives:

  • Establishing the quality of the pond water during the implementation of the floating wetland plants.�
  • Differentiate between the water qualities during wet weather flow and dry weather flow.

Recommendations:

  1. Increase plant density → floating wetland units.
  2. Desilt once every year to once every 5 years
  3. For future FYP group: Repeat the project in another 6 months time to establish the water quality after the plants have establish and before the launching of stage 2 of the floating wetland.
