The HUD is the first step to human augmentation. Amal Graafstra runs Dangerous Things, which focuses on embedding NFC for locks. In a world where everyone wants convenience, the next logical steps are to start adding tech to ourselves. This is the first safe step to moving toward the future.

Learning from another company:

Google glass had several hiccups leading to the pause of the project.

-Losing support for processors

-Dev kits too expensive

-Not enough battery

With our product, we designed it to be dedicated, extending battery life. The parts are low cost. As well as we use parts that are used by every maker on the market.

Conclusion:

Many times a product comes to market that is out of the price range of the ordinary consumer. In the case of Google Glass, it held a lot of promise, but was prohibitively expensive. Frugal Glass aims to solve this problem, so long as you’re willing to look like a total dork.
