Sequence of Disassembly

  • Begin by removing the following components in order:

Bayonet 🡪 Sling 🡪 Bolt 🡪 Case Collector

Sling Removal

  • Detach the sling carefully.
  • Roll it neatly and place it on the ground sheet.

Bolt Removal

  • Set the safety catch to the ‘S’ position.
  • Lift the bolt lever upward and pull the bolt backward to separate it from the rifle.

Case Collector Removal

  • Press the case collector catch.
  • Remove the case collector and place it in a clean area.

Preparation

  • Ensure the safety catch is in the ‘R’ position.
  • Lift the bolt and tighten the bolt head.

Bolt Installation

  • Align the bolt with the guide and fit it securely.
  • If assembling multiple rifles, verify the registration numbers of each part.

Final Assembly Steps

  • Press the trigger.
  • Set the safety catch back to the ‘S’ position.
  • Fit the case collector with its small notch facing forward.
  • Attach the sling to the rifle.
  • Fit the bayonet last
