Many times administration do not know what a librarian's job entails.

Make time to sit down and talk to your admin team.
Bring information to give to them.
Explain what a librarian can do for the school community.
Ask them their expectations for the library.
Make them feel included.

Do not think that your administors do not like you.
Do not think they do not care about the library.
You need to show them all the great things that a library and librarian do do for them.
They have a lot on their plate
Be a problem solver!

Try to be involved with more than just library related things.
Work some sport events.
Volunteer to serve on a committee
Sponsor a club
Offer to plan reading events (Dr. Seuss Week, STEM Night, ect.)
