How to install DevourClient

RECOMMENDATIONS
If you are looking to install this hack, I recommend you have enough storage and some extra if needed. If your PC is below the game minimum requirements then this may not be as pleasant for you.
This presentation will be organised into different steps to ensure people can understand how to download the hacks available.

Step 1
To start this off, your first step will be to install the Net SDK, and RUNTIME

Regarding the other installation options, It is unclear whether others will make a difference, click on whichever suits your PCs category, if you had a MacOS then you should install x64.
Step 2
For your next step, download Melon Loader installer latest version currently v0.6.1 IN THE FUTURE THIS MAY CHANGE

Open Melon Loader, head to settings and click on ‘’show Alpha Pre releases’’ head back to Automated and select the latest version.
Above the version, it will say Select game click on it and find the ‘’devour’’ game in your steam files as listed in the images →
Once you have done this click on Install then the melon loader files will be installed in the devour, this is VERY important and a massive part of the installation.
Step 3
This step is pretty simple, after following the previous step all you have to do is LOAD DEVOUR.
In this process a console will load up. DO NOT WORRY as it is processing the files required for the next step.
Once your game is loaded in the main menu you can safely exit the game ready for the next step.
Step 4 & 5
4. Install Visual Studio in the image there is an arrow pointing to the correct version which you will need. Installing it may take some time so be patient.
5. Load up the OFFICIAL installation guide, in the corner there will be a green button that says ‘’code’’ click on it and click on ‘’download zip’’
Step 6 & 7
6. Extract the zip file in your desktop, and load the devourclient.sln.
7. Once it has fully loaded, at the top of the bar click on Project, then add reference then click on ‘browse’ (step 7 will not work if you have not successfully completed step 3).
There will be another browse button next to the OK click on it then paste these following directory files below. There is currently 22 of them so ensure you have all of them in.

^ The directory links are located right at the bottom of the official installation page copy and paste them ONE AT A TIME.
Once you have done this, ensure every single box is ticked on the add reference page. Then click on OK.
Step 9
This will hopefully be your final step for installation, if some of you get an error there will be an additional slide below to fix your issue.
For this step, (for you it will say debug, for me it says release)
Click on where it says debug and change it to release. After that click on the green button with devourclient next to it to build your hack.
In the box at the bottom once you have built the DLL it will say BUILD SUCCEEDED meaning you can move on to the very very final step.
FINAL STEP (10)
For this final step, go back to the devour files you previously extracted. head to
DevourClient-MelonLoader\DevourClient-MelonLoader\DevourClient\bin\Release\net6.0
Inside will be a lot of files move the DEVOURCLIENT.DLL file into the MODS folder which is located in the steam files for devour.
After that, Load the game, in the main menu press INS on your keyboard and enjoy!! Some keyboards might require you to press FN then INS.
If your keyboard does not have the INS button you can open the on screen keyboard and load the hacks from there
ADDITIONAL SLIDE TO STEP 9
If you are like the unlucky few who didn't manage to successfully build the DLL here is a simple fix.
An error code will display at the bottom this will direct you to the scripts.
The error code will instruct you to delete 2 simple lines of code from the script, do this and continue to follow the guide as usual.
