Investigate common sources of debris, such as single-use plastics, fishing gear, and litter. Explain how your audience can make a different in preventing the source of their choice.

Discuss the impacts of plastic pollution and microplastics. Describe to your audience how they can help to mitigate these impacts and prevent plastic pollution.

Plastics to Microplastics

Research how natural disasters create and spread marine debris. Give information on how your audience can prepare for natural disasters to prevent marine debris from being created.

Natural Disasters and Marine Debris

Explore how debris impacts CNMI’s coral reefs and endangered species like sea turtles and coastal fisheries. Explain to your audience how they can help to prevent those impacts.
