COMPARISON BETWEEN EXPERIMENTAL AND CONTROL CLASS
The comparison between the experimental and control classes shows that the experimental class achieved a higher mean score improvement compared to the control class.
This indicates that students who were taught using the Wayground application performed better than those who were taught using conventional methods.
Hypothesis Testing
Decision rule:
Based on the analysis, the significance value is (0.087). Therefore, H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted.
The findings of this study indicate that the use of the Wayground application improves students’ vocabulary mastery. The interactive and game-based features of the application increase students’ engagement and motivation in learning English vocabulary.
This result is consistent with previous studies that show digital learning tools can enhance student performance and participation.
CHAPTER 5 CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION
CONCLUSION
2. The students’ vocabulary mastery taught without using Wayground application are category good category. It can be seen from the mean score of students’ vocabulary mastery taught without using Wayground application. The mean score in control class is less that the mean in experimental class.
3. The result of a data analysis by using independent sample t-test show that the value of sig is less than 0,05. It means that alternatif hypothesis(Ha) is accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. It means that there is a significant difference of students’ vocabulary mastery between taught using Wayground application and without using Quizizz
