Terms

  • General Education
    • Courses in various categories which all SUNY Geneseo students complete prior to graduation. �Transfer student requirements may vary, but you still must finish a gen ed program.
  • Credits to Graduate
    • A minimum of 120 credits are required. At least 60 credits are out of the School of Business and Liberal Arts & Sciences
  • Minor (optional)
    • A set of requirements with a minimum of 9 unique credits
  • Double Major (optional)
    • A second set of degree requirements with at least 24 unique credits
  • Electives
    • Helps to get to 120 credits but no specific requirements.
  • Integrated and Applied Learning/Experiential Learning
    • Hands-on experiences which include simulations and projects in some classes or outside of class experiences like study abroad, undergraduate research and internships
  • Co-curricular - Academic Clubs, Academic Competitions, Study Abroad
  • Extra-curricular – Athletics, Greek Life, Non-Academic Clubs and Activities
