TYPES OF DISPLAY SYSTEM
DISPLAY CASES
Retail display cases are a type of standalone display that is closed in on all sides by glass or clear plastic. To access the products shoppers may have to speak to a store associate to retrieve the item from the case for them. Other times, if the case is serving an ornamental purpose, shoppers, can find the product on its home shelf. Because of their security, higher-end products will often find their way into these displays.
Display cases are most often seen in department stores. The best example of this is a typical store jewellery counter. These glass cases allow customers to look at higher-priced objects that you don't necessarily want to have out in the open. This is a way to keep your stock away from the public but still display all that you have to offer. Display cases are also great for electronic items as well as certain types of sporting equipment.
WINDOW DISPLAYS
Window displays, also known as window dressings, are exactly what they sound like- product displays that are set up in the window of a retailer. These displays are extremely lucrative as they represent the retailer and can be the deciding factor on whether a shopper enters the store in the first place. If given the opportunity to Occupy a window display for your product, it is imperative to create a visually appealing design that will Positively represent your product and the retailer.Window displays are arguably the most important type of display any store can have. Brightly-colored or ornate window displays draw new customers into the store. They are also capable of helping stores retain their current customers.
SHELVING DISPLAYS
END CAP DISPLAYS
End Cap displays are the shelves at the end of a two-sided retail shelf- which the shopper passes by when going from one aisle to another. Like free standing displays end Caps allow you to place your product in relevant areas beyond typical aisle shelf space.The end cap display is a great way to utilize the end of an aisle in a store. End caps can help draw your customers into an aisle as well. They are great for displaying sale merchandise as people have to walk by them to get into an aisle. Many big name stores use end caps as a way to display their clearance merchandise while making room for newer items in their regular aisles
SHELF TALKERS
Shelf Talkers, also known as "hang- "tags" are the promotional signage you see sticking out perpendicularly to aisle Shelves. They're useful for making your brand stand out within the aisle, educating the buyer about the product, and guiding customer directly to your shelf. One of the best low profile ways of advertising certain products in a store is the shelf talker. This type of display consists of simple, small, brightly colored vinyl signage. Shelf talkers are wonderful because they attach to existing aisle shelves and take up no floor space. For smaller areas, shelf talkers are the best way to highlight certain products for customers' review.
MANNEQUIN DISPLAY
There is certainly no better way to display clothing then to place it on a mannequin. This way your customers can have a better idea of how the clothing will look on a person. However mannequins can be a visually stunning display for other items as well, such as jewellery, scarves, or other accessories. Mannequins can also be an easy way for merchandisers to create unique, large-scale store displays of items typically not sold using mannequins.
Displays placed right in front of your entrance doors are great for displaying current sale or bargain items. During special times of year, entryway displays are great for holiday promotions and for showcasing seasonal necessities. Placing these items at the front of the store shows your customers that you are there to help them and the best deals and be prepared for seasonal needs.
CLOTHING DISPLAY

Display tables are also a very common clothing display, likely due to their versatility. Display. tables can host a myriad of products, from apparel to accessories to jewelry. One benefit of display tables is the amount of room they provide for merchandisers to get creative.
Commonly used to display folded clothing items, the display table allows your customer to easily pick up and handle merchandise. They are especially effective for items like accessories, such as costume jewelry, watches, and purses. This type of display is better suited for larger areas in a showroom, though they can also be effective with smaller tables.
GARMENT RACKS
Garment racks are one of the most common types of clothing displays. Still, not all garment racks are the same - some are circular, some have multiple levels to hang items on and some include shelves with them as well. Additionally, the merchandisers don't just toss the product onto the shelf and walk away. There are many ways to organized clothing on a garment rack to capture a shoppers attention.
Gondola displays are not boats, however they are easily movable display shelves. They allow you to display several different types of items all at once. Gondola displays are extremely popular and very large discount retail stores. This is because they can show many different types of products simultaneously and are easy to restock.

When it comes to design aesthetics, there are few things more important than lighting. Lighting has the ability to radially alter the way that we perceive an object. In the context of trade shows, this means that lighting is often the difference between an exhibit design that draws people in and one that is simply ignored or glossed over. If you want to make sure that you truly ‘wow 'attendees and draw the attention that your company deserves, make sure to choose exhibit design that utilizes attractive and innovative lighting in order to create interest and draw. TYPES OF LIGHTING IN EXHIBITION
SPOTLIGHTS
Spotlights that are used for exhibition stands are neither huge nor bulky like the ones you might have seen at live events. They are relatively compact and can be discreetly attached to your exhibition stand. They are quite powerful yet are designed to be subtle and will illuminate specific parts of your exhibition stand.
DISPLAY LIGHTS
Display Lights or hand lights are used to specifically illuminats the exhibition stand graphics. They are quite low on power consumption and cost since hand lights use LED (Light-emitting diode) bulbs, which offers an impressive span of illumination even if they don't have the same intensity as the Spotlight. They also come in different colors, making them quite useful for sitting up a particular ambience.
BANNER LIGHTS
Banner Lights are usually placed behind an exhibition stand graphics of banner to give an attracting inner glow Banner lights use LED bulbs since they are small and compact, making them easy to conceal. These are great if you are looking to use your exhibition stand for brand promotion.
BACKLIGHTS
The concept of backlighting is not for us. We have often used it for signage coverage, billboards or outdoor promotions, but it has gain importance at exhibitions too. Backlighting are not only better best fit the budget of an exhibitor.
ROPE LIGHTING
Often the understated form of lighting but yet one of the essential ones are the rope light. In rope lighting, you will find small LED bulbs covered in plastic tubes, which protects them from unplanned damage. They are usually found in different lengths and colors. It can hide behind the products without worrying about fire hazards. The sheen brightness of rope lights is very effective in creating stunning back drop.
LED STRIP LIGHTS
Just like Rope Lighting LED strip lights to come in different lengths. It has a flexible circuit board consisting of LEDs (light emitting diodes) with an adhesive backing. These strips have a low profile shape that enables you to set them anywhere, thus making it an adjustable lighting tool.
IMPORTANCE OF LIGHTING IN EXHIBITION
Attracting the attention of your target audience is the first and fore most goal to achieve when participating in a trade show or setting up a booth in the public
To create focal points or to bring focus to a particular areas of a stand such as your logo, message or any products on display, accent lighting is used.
With careful selection of that type and positioning of lighting, we can create the desired atmospheric ambience in the stand.
The use of lighting is not confined to large exhibition stands. Good lighting can make a table top or pop up display look engaging and attractive to visitors by appealing to their sense of wonder. It is a brilliant idea to use light box to create an evenly lighted flat surface or even illumination of your logo or any message that you want to convey.
