Instructional Excellence:Preparing Students for Life
Reading Goal: By the end of the 2023-2024 school year, C&L McDougle Elementary students will show growth in performance from 67.9% to 71.8% proficiency or higher in the area of reading.
Student Groups: Black 26.2% to at least 40.1%, Latinx 28.2% to at least 34.5%, White 87.0% to at least 90.1% , EDS 28.6% to at least 30.0%, SWD 29.7% to at least 32.1% by June 2024.
Math Goal: By the end of the 2023-2024 school year, C&L McDougle Elementary students will students will show growth in performance from 71.7% to 82.1% proficiency or higher in the area of math.
Student Groups: Black 28.6% to at least 40.1%, Latinx 43.6% to at least 57.4%, White 88.3% to at least 95.0% , EDS 42.9% to at least 48.0%, SWD 32.4% to at least 36.2% by June 2024.
English Learner Progress: By the end of the 2023-2024 school year, we will increase the percentage of ML students that meet their annual progress goal from 33.3% to at least 50.3%.

Creating a Culture of Safety and Wellness
Chronic Absenteeism Goal: By the end of the 2023-2024 school year, we will improve our attendance from 14.5% to no more that 12% of our students being chronically absent, as set by the district. (Our school’s goal is 10%)
Student Culture Goal: By the end of the 2023-2024 school year, utilizing Panorama data, our School Climate percentage will improve from 64% to at least 68%.

Reading Goal: By June 2025, C&L McDougle Elementary students will show growth in reading performance from 70% to 73% proficiency or higher in the area of reading as evidenced by their performance on EOG tests.

Math Goal: By June 2025, C&L McDougle Elementary students will show growth in math performance from 76.5% to 82.1% proficiency or higher in the area of reading as evidenced by their performance on EOG tests.

Strengthening Family and Community Engagement
Family and Community Engagement Goal: At C&L McDougle Elementary we will increase Family and Community Engagement by hosting at least four community-centered events, along with two “Coffee and Conversation” sessions with the principal, throughout the 2024-2025 school year, and enhance school-to-home communication with the implementation of Talking Points.(E1.06)

Empowering, Equipping and Investing in Our People
By the end of the 2024-2025 school year, every full-time classroom teacher at C&L McDougle Elementary will receive an average of five hours per week of duty-free instructional planning time, supporting a productive and effective teaching environment.
Instructional Assistants will receive 2.5 hours per week of duty-free time. (B2.03)
