Financial Update

• We had a very successful Indiegogo campaign that raised $41,535 which made it possible for us to stay afloat
• Our treasurer had to resign after breaking her ankle and being unable to do the job
• If you know someone with experience and time please ask them to consider joining our board of directors

Building Update

A MILLION Thanks to our Great Volunteers

​

• We have our Certificate of Occupancy
• Heat is done
• Plumbing is mostly done; one last leak to fix
• Electrical final inspection is Wednesday 12/23
• Area Leads are continuing to setup the shops and to hook up equipment that has been waiting on electrical work to be completed

Opening / Re-Orientation

A New Building and a New Start

​

• Over 110 active members have been through the re-orientation process
• There are several socially distanced sessions on the calendar to sign up for
• New member orientations will start in January with a new COVID process for Maker Monday

Volunteers Needed

Re-MakeICT Tuesdays, 6pm - 9pm

​

• Task lists are on the boards in the rooms
• Make sure Paula has your number for txt updates
• Check the forum every day for other help needed, and opportunities on different days
• Plenty of little things left to do

Committee Opportunities

Be Part of the Machinery that Makes MakeICT

• Our organization exists because of people who volunteer their time to do the work
• All 14 of our committees need members
• Committees can meet, even when the building isn’t finished
• If you’re willing to step up, contact Paula to learn more

Donations Needed

This Work is Expensive, and It’s Not Over

• If you are able, we are asking that you go above and beyond your monthly dues to keep us afloat during this difficult time
• Set up a monthly Building Fund donation
