Mission Statement

The AED30 Information Systems and Technology committee is concerned with research needs and strategic leadership regarding the use of advanced computing and technology to provide optimal transportation solutions and outcomes, with a particular focus on identifying opportunities, challenges, and risks for transportation agencies.

Cybersecurity Subcommittee AMR40(1)

  • Purpose: The Cybersecurity Subcommittee is concerned with addressing cyber threats to transportation organizations and assets. The subcommittee provides a forum for understanding cyber risks to transportations infrastructure, determining best ways to mitigate risk, share best practices, and understand the needed actions from different roles within the organization. The subcommittee supports the work of other TRB committees in assessing the risks associated with emerging technologies. The subcommittee follows and shares research within TRB and beyond that supports a greater understanding of best cyber practices.
