About AIESEC

Founded in 1948, we believe in peace and seek to activate and develop the leadership potential of young people around the world.

AIESEC is not just about academic achievements - we offer real-world experiences, developing future leaders equipped to tackle complex challenges.

This year, over 1100 students will engage with AIESEC through various impactful events, creating opportunities for companies to interact with motivated, driven young professionals ready to make a difference.

OPPORTUNITY

Get out your comfort zone through diverse and inclusive team, learning through coaching, feedback, and empowering each other to take on new challenges.

You’ll spend 30-35 hours a week at your local office, leading your local committee. You’ll connect with the national network at conferences and become part of a global community of like-minded individuals.

AIESEC in

Delft

We are a group of 25 friends all working toward one inspiring goal: connecting people from different cultures! This team consists of one president, four vice presidents and 20 part-time students.

​

We meet every Tuesday evening at Café the Ruif to catch up with the whole committee, receive trainings, share ideas and plan our next steps. Beyond our weekly get-togethers, you’ll find opportunities to expand your network at our conferences, in-house days, and training sessions. We also organize regular social events to foster a great connection within the teams.

Team Outgoing Global Volunteer

Outgoing Global Volunteer Team is responsible for facilitating quality experiences for young people who want to go on a volunteering project abroad. This entails setting the right expectations, ensuring people go abroad with the right mindset and guide them in their leadership development.

Team Marketing

Marketing Team is responsible for the online and offline brand awareness of AIESEC and the promotion of our volunteering projects and the internships abroad. Marketing Team finds creative ways to increase visibility on campus and online.

Team Incoming Global Talent

Incoming Global Talent Team is responsible for facilitating the experience of trainees from abroad in the Netherlands. This entails acquiring companies where students can do an internship, helping the company to select to right trainee and guide the trainee in their journey to and in the Netherlands.

Currently, the planned structure for the upcoming term is as followed. As an executive board member you will be the Vice-President of a team, meaning you will lead another group of young people.

Finance and External Relations

Forming a team with the Local Committee President, you will be responsible for the committees financial sustainability. Next to this, you will get in contact with companies who are interested in supporting you and manage these external relations.

As a FER, it is your role to ensure financial sustainability and manage the external relations in your Local Committee. The responsibilities of a FER range from financial management and bookkeeping to account management and acquisition. Besides this you will also work closely together with the LCP to support the other LCVPs wherever you can.

The Local Committee Vice President for Marketing is responsible for reaching as many students as possible to help provide more leadership experiences, together with the team. Your team works on online and offline marketing, creating strategies and finding new and creative ways to attract students.

As Local Committee Vice President oGV, you are responsible for the team that facilitates voluntary projects abroad for students in your city. Your team consists of Exchange Participant (EP) Managers who will help you send people abroad with AIESEC. You will guide the EP Manager throughout the entire process of sending students on voluntary projects.

The Local Committee Vice President iGT is responsible for the incoming exchange team. You enable foreign students to come to the Netherlands for a professional internship. Your team members are responsible for acquiring new companies in your city, matching interested students from abroad to these companies and guiding the trainees working in (your LC)..

The blank paper challenge is an opportunity for you to add something personal/extra to your application. It can be used in any way you think is relevant. It can be regarded as a blank space to show creativity, to visualise or to clarify. It should not be another page of text. Keep it limited in words. The entire application should be in English and should be no more than 5 pages (excluding your resume).
