People maybe good but they may not know the real purpose of life. For example parents. They have good heart for you but they may not understand importance of spiritual life. Not because they are demons but because they have never got informed about this in so much detail, they maybe ill-informed that spirituality may take up all your time and you will not be able too study and so on.
People watch nonsense things but parents don’t know hence they don’t stop. What method you are adopting and how you are spending every moment you don't have to tell. But you have to tell how you have improved you grades - they are interested in that.
Talking regularly with them have good relationship. If you do these things they don’t mind what you do in between. Whether you are playing cricket, watching movie or chanting Hare Krsna. Till the time you are doing this they will not mind.
