  • Lesson Rationale: There are so many reasons why students become disruptive and disengaged. The goal for today is to facilitate an open discussion by brainstorming reasons why students disrupt the learning environment and become disengaged, and learn some strategies to decrease the behavior.

  • External distractions: Friends, distracting classmates, things happening outside
