ਜਪਮਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਨੇਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਗੁਪਤ ਕੋਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਨਾ ਸਕੇ। ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਕ੍ਰਿਪਸ਼ਨ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
