Each one of us are candidates for being handicapped. So there should be some precautions taken in order to make their daily lives easier, here are some local innovations that made for them.

Aegean region’s most visited tourist center Kuşadası and its beaches hosts thousands of tourists each year. For handicapped people to use the beach, Wheelchair ramps will be built in all beaches in kuşadası in progress of time

Mayor also stated that some regulations will also be done among all town for handicapped people as soon as possible

Past year we all had to isolate ourselves indoors due to Covid-19 pandemic. It was hard for old or handicapped people to go out and get their needs from groceries or stores

Aydın Metropolitan Municipality built traffic markings to prevent public transportation vehicles from slowing down the traffic and to highlight the disabled parking areas.

Aydın Ministry of Social Services introduced Barrier-free living and innovation center which is made to support handicapped people and their families

The project, with a total budget of 1 million 188 thousand TL, aims to increase the social life of people with disabilities and to support their employment with courses to be opened.

The project’s audience is 16-35 old visually disabled, deaf, mild orthopedic and mentally disabled people
