HOME�SRS BASICS – HOME PAGE

  • Once you are logged in, you will see the home page.  This will show a listing of:
    • your ten most recent students that you have edited
    • an option to add feedback if you have ideas on how to improve the software that will be reviewed by the SRS Advisory team
    • any announcements for the system
  • Check at the log in for new updates from SRS and your district

  • Go to the Students tab
  • Click on Student search
  • The students that an individual can see depends on:
    • Access level that they have in the district
    • Student teams that they have been added to by the district manager

  • Here you can set your display options. 
    • Click on the display options button to display the list. 
    • Click the checkbox for each item to display. 
    • The more items you have the wider the list. 
    • A scroll bar will appear at the bottom of the screen to navigate to the side to the choose button.  
    • Click the display options button again

to close the option window.

*This is my preferred list with the Show ALL Students.

**The more items you have in the list then you may not

see the choose dropdown. 

***As you can see in the image, the word Choose is just a C.

  • How to create a new student file
    • ALWAYS begin by searching for the student in SRS in the transfer option
    • If yes, request the file to be transferred
    • If unable to request, let you district administrator know so they can request
    • If no, then create one
  • State ID – Unique per student
    • Importance
    • SRS ADVISER Reporting
    • All students must have one in the Edit student screen

  • Inactive Student – to see the records you must show all in the student search
  • Any transferred students will be inactive
  • Public/Nonpublic
  • Choose button has several options in the dropdown
  • Add Parent/Guardian
  • Add Student Team Member/ Case Manager List

If something is not working as you think it should, check the Knowledge base or with your District Admin or the ESU SPED director.

One of these three should be able to help you with issues you may run into as you work through the software.

Each district can have their own settings in some instances.
