What I did?

I was tasked with figuring out how to make the game work in VrChat.

This ended up being more difficult than expected, at least with the knowledge I have.

What I would do differently?

I would have started with making it immedietly as either just first person 3D game or just Vrchat as it was difficult to figure out a way to change things to work in VrChat from its original state.

Tasks

As I mentioned in the previous slide, it was much more difficult to make the game work in VrChat and because of this, I changed the puzzles a bit.

One example being that player finds a stick that they can use to empty the bathtub and that way they can get access to the radio piece.

What did I learn?

  • Being a leader is hard but rewarding;
  • Working with passionate people is the best thingabout game developing;
  • Programming is confusing, sometimes annoying and interesting. It gives a great satisfying feelingwhen things finally work as how they are supposed to;
  • No need to do everything myself and burn out.
