Self-contained classrooms are often not given curriculums- we are improvising
Explicit teaching of the ways to interact with the core word symbols and the modeling is really important.
Do you add tactile components to the core word symbols? Braille?
Preparation of materials for storytime- materials, prep time, UDL

-in IEP meetings suggest that families attend story time in public library. But now will also look on how to break down barriers to allow them to get to the Library.
-Market story hours to the community so that students with complex support needs feel welcome.
-We are looking for inclusion and structure different from a sensory friendly story time.
-Like the connection between resource and activities.
-Story time will look different for students with visual impairments. Slides on big screen and provide iPad if needed, tactile and large visuals. Project Libro is a project Dr. Pebly
