��Choosing subjects �for 2024 – background information to know about...

1. What career areas do you want open?

2. Look at career/job and plan backwards to your subjects. (Research jobs today.)�3. Keep your options open –allow changes ahead.�4. Year 12 – Taking maths is advisable.�5. If you are unsure you are probably advised to take a science. (your preferred science)�6. Portfolio subjects require a lot of work for the internal. Can results in overload if you take more than one portfolio subject.�7. Look at the WSC Coursebook prerequisites on the WSC NPoW website (“Teaching and Learning”); plan your Year 12/13 years.

8. Some subjects can start at Level 2/3, without studying before.
