Middle School Locations

• All classes will be offered in-person
• Programs will be “hosted” at two designated school

sites as points of contact for communication, and

materials

• FMS/CMS/WMS @ Fedde
• HMS/TMS/RMS @ Haskell

• Enrichment, Support and a nutritional break provided each day
• Weekly staff and collaboration meetings will be

conducted

Student Materials Pick-up

June 14 - July 7: In-Person Summer School Classes

(15 days)

July 6: MS Prep Student Summer Showcase

June 12: Student Schedule Available to View in Aeries

Middle School Program Offerings

ELA and Math Support Classes:

• For incoming 8th grade students who earned a D

or F in spring 2023

• Students who need help with the new transition

due to social emotional adjustments

​

Language Excels:

**Runs Full day 8:30 AM- 12:00 PM

​

• Designed for 7th and 8th grade Newcomer English Language Learners to help support and develop

academic English Language

• Students will experience elective coursework

as a part of this academy along with real world

experiences

• Focused Math & English preparation and skill

reinforcement for incoming 7th graders

Based on teacher recommendation

• Students must be recommended by their teacher

and qualify based on their report card

Middle School Grading Policy

• Students will be graded using the traditional

grading policy

​

• Students will receive a letter grade of A, B, C, D, or F

​

Expectations and Citizenship

• Daily attendance is required due to the shortened

period of summer school

​

• Student attendance will be a factor in participation in

the summer course and possibly affect student

credit/grades for the course

​

• Fill out Attendance Form to Excuse Absences

• Any 3 or more days unexcused absences may result

to dismissal from the summer school program

​

• ID must be worn at all times

​

• No cellphone used in class without direct teacher permission. Please keep off during the school day.
