MCPS Personal Mobile Device Policy - released 5/9/2025

Less Phone Time Means More Learning Time

Elementary Schools

  • Acceptable Use Before/After School: phones must be turned off through the � school day.
  • School Buses: students may use phones.
  • Discipline/Expectations: students misusing their phones will follow a � progressive approach outlined in the Student Code of Conduct (to be � released over summer)
  • Medical and Learning Accommodations: for students in 504 or IEP
