Overview

A project initiated by the Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India
The National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS) is a common, generic and configurable application developed for registration departments across the country
Single, web based application developed as a product for all States/UTs across the country
It is built based on open source technology and e-Gov standards.
It aims towards “One Nation One Software”.
The NGDRS Assam instance is hosted at https://ngdrs.assam.gov.in
Initially It was launched in two districts of Assam, i.e Darrang and Kamrup (R) on pilot basis on 14^th November, 2022 by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam
It was launched for all districts of Assam on 13^th February 2024
