Travelling the world

Miss West was in France. She spent €143 to stay at a hotel. She then spent €25.50 to climb the Eiffel tower and €8 to visit Notre Dame. How much did she spend altogether?

After travelling through France, Miss West met up with Miss Parrant in Belgium. Miss Parrant bought 5 packs of chocolates. Each pack had 8 Belgian chocolates in it. How many chocolates did she buy altogether?

While Miss West and Miss Parrant were travelling through Europe, Mr Goodwin, Mrs Sīo and Miss Tuiā were travelling through South America. When they arrived in Brazil, they walked up 220 steps to reach the statue of Christ the Redeemer. They then walked half way down the 220 steps and took a photo. How many steps would they have counted all together when they stopped to take a photo?

Mr Goodwin, Miss Tuiā and Mrs Sīo then travelled up to North America. They caught a flight from Brazil to Canada which took 11 hours. At the same time they caught their flight, Miss West and Miss Parrant caught a flight from Belgium to Canada. Their flight took 7 hours. How many hours before Mr Goodwin, Miss Tuiā and Mrs Sīo arrived did Miss West and Miss Parrant arrive?
