What can On-Ramps interns do?

How do we prepare students?

On-Ramps prepares students in several ways:

1 - We work with school Career Technical Education departments and DC Public & Public Charter Schools

2 - Students attend seven or more internship preparation workshops for he 5 months leading up to the interneship - Delivered largely by Accenture and other employers

3 - We offer trainings in areas such as IT Fundamentals, Windows, A+

4 - We host events where students engage with employer supervisors before the internship starts

5 - Often have students return for 2, 3 or 4 internships. Now have our first cohorts leaving College

May 7: Meet & Greet, Supervisors & Interns

June 29: Host 25 hours per week, 6 weeks

August 6: Intern final presentations, evaluations

October 1: Annual Internship Celebration
