Challenges & Way Forward

Challenges

Onsite delivery of Training was affected by Covid-19 pandemic and slowed down delivery of training as earlier scheduled .

Non Availabilty of good internet services in many countries for E-learning

Restricted access to the JRC Cloud platform after training

Way Forward

Online mode training was adopted.

Improve network for Africa

Continuos training of DMOs and stakeholders is advocated, especially in the area of Data processing and application on EO data (estation)
More Training and awareness to be Created on cloud computing. especially on the enormous resources available on GEE
