Delaware River & Bay

• Stay at the edge of the channel!
• There are underwater walls on both sides of the river, both north and south of Delaware City. 
• Be mindful of boats ahead and astern with limited steerage. Share the depth with bigger vessels.
• Commercial traffic runs at 18kts and puts up large bow and stern wakes. 
• Monitor VHF Channel 13
