Objective

Using common materials, design and build a musical instrument that is playable and durable. We will have a performance day when each student will play a song of their choice.

Criteria & Constraints

  • Must be playable by one person
  • Must play a range of frequencies and amplitudes
  • Student must learn to play a song on their instrument
  • No box guitars

Performance Day

  • Performances will occur on Wednesday, February 2nd (hours 1, 3, and 5) and Thursday, February 3rd (hours 6 and 8)
  • Tell us what type of instrument you made and how it works
  • Play your song/tune/jingle for the class
